External Resource Persons Directory: Selected individuals will be listed in the MoE's Directory of External Resource Persons. Individuals must be qualified. experienced competent and suitable for rendering services in education. Professors are among them. Lecturers. Senior teachers, educators, school principals, and retired education officers are all eligible.
Consultants. Professionals, entrepreneurs, public officers, officers in the armed forces, and organisations providing professional services are all eligible. Their services are obtained through a visit/assignment/contract/project/invitation.
Applying for Registration: Read the details on the MoE website and fill out the Form, which can be downloaded from www.moe.gov.lk and emailed to edureformsrp@gmail.com. The deadline for applications is March 20, 2023.
Scope of Work: Applicants must be able to serve as Trainer of Trainers/lecturer Trainer Consultant in General Education, Technical and Vocational Education, and Special Education. They will provide services to (a) teachers, (b) principals, (c) officers in education administration, (d) academic staff in National Colleges of Education, (e) staff in technical and vocational institutes, and other categories of education personnel.
The following are examples of Work Spheres:
a. The process of learning and teaching, including learning-teaching methods. curriculum delivery in school, learning assessment, and management of data and information relating to education
b. Curriculum development and related teacher training, in priority areas including STEM education. English and business communication; development of vocational skills. ICT and Al, as well as entrepreneurship
C. School administration, including planning, classroom management, finance, and school culture
d. Professional development and counselling, including aptitude testing. Students' career preferences are tested, and they are counselled.
E. Administration of education, including the implementation of the National Education Management Information System at the school, school board, zonal, provincial, and national levels.
f. Capacity building of personnel in various categories of educational services aimed at improved performance and career advancement/succession planning.
