Available Branch Locations:
Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa, Mannar, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Kegalle, and Vavuniya.

*Preference will be given to applicants residing within these districts.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Part qualification of a recognized professional accounting body or equivalent.
  • Minimum 02 years of experience in the Finance Field.
  • Working experience with donor-funded projects and audit firms will be an added advantage.
Competencies Required
  • Demonstrated professional skills in accounting.
  • Practical knowledge of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Strong monitoring, analytical, interpretation, and reporting skills.
  • Well-developed liaising and negotiation skills with banks and other external organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
  • Well-developed language skills in oral and written Sinhala/Tamil and English.
General Requirements
  • Sound understanding of humanitarian, community, and volunteer-based service interventions.
  • Ability to be a quick learner adhering to SLRCS management guidelines and procedures.
  • Team player who is self-motivated and able to work under challenging circumstances.
  • Abide by and work according to Red Cross and Red Crescent Fundamental Principles.

Remuneration: An attractive package will be offered, depending on qualifications, experience, and competencies. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract basis.
