Course Description:
The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) invites applications for the Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Primary Education (Level 03). This program is designed to professionalize educators in the primary sector, offering instruction in Sinhala, Tamil, and English mediums across various regional centers.

Admission Requirements
Education & Other Qualifications:
- At least three (03) passes at the G.C.E (A/L) Examination AND six (06) passes at the G.C.E. (O/L) including First Language and Mathematics.
- OR Successful completion of the Advanced Certificate in Pre-School Education Programme conducted by OUSL.
- OR Completion of 30 course credits at SLQF Level 2 of any OUSL foundation programme AND six (06) passes at G.C.E. (O/L) including First Language and Mathematics.
- OR Primary Trained Teachers’ Certificate offered by Government Teacher Training Colleges.
- OR An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the OUSL Senate.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be 18 years old or over on the closing date of application.
