Institute of Indigenous Medicine University of Colombo VACANCIES
The Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo will entertain applications from suitably Sri Lankan qualified candidates for the following posts up to 15th March 2021.
1. Post of Technical Officer (ICT) Grade III (02 vacant posts)
Qualifications
(i) Should have passed in three (3) subjects at the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination in one sitting in any stream.
AND
(ii) Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the N.V.Q. Level 5 issued by a Technical /Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission or recognized Institution in the field of Information Communication and Multimedia Technology/ Information and Communication Technology/Information Technology of Equivalent.
Preference will be given for who have work experience in ICT
2. Post of Technical Officer (Audio Visual) Grade III (01 vacant posts)
1. Qualifications
(i) Should have passed in three (3) subjects at the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination in one sitting in any stream.
AND
(a) Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the N.V.Q. Level 5 in the field of Electronic and Telecommunication / Electronics/ Multimedia or Audio Visual Techniques from an Institution recognized by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission or a Statutory Institution which has been established by an Act passed by the Parliament.
OR
(b) Having obtained technical Qualifications in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication /Electronics / Multimedia or Audio Visual Techniques accepted as equivalent to the above Qualification of (ii) (a) by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission with one year experience in Audio Visual work in reputed Organization.
➢ Selection Method : By Writing and /or Practical test and interview
➢ Salary Scale : Rs. 31,625-7x300; 10x355-37,275 p.m. U-MT 1(111 A) as at 01.01.2020
➢ Age Limit Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years
in addition to the above salary, cost of living, allowance and other approved allowances will be paid.
Other benefits ➢
➢ University Provident Fund: Contribution by the employer an amount equivalent to 7% of the monthly basic salary to the Universities Provident Fund. Contribution by the employee an amount equivalent to 10% of the monthly basic salary to the Universities provident fund.
➢ University Pension Scheme: Contribution by the employer an amount equivalent to 8% of the monthly basic salary to the Universities Pension Scheme.
➢ Employees Trust Fund: Contribution by the employer an amount equivalent to 3% of the monthly basic salary to the Employees Trust Fund.
