Drawing Competition for Children under 12 years of age

Topic – “A Healthy Mind"

* Competitors must not be over 12 years of age by October 05, the closing date of the competition.
* Competitors must use Pastel or Water Colors only. Other media for drawing competition will not be accepted.
* One contestant can submit only one creation.
* Use only A3 size papers
* It is mandatory for one of the parents to certify on the back of the painting as follows:

Drawing Competition for Children between 12 to 18 years of age

Topic – “A Healthy Mind in an Unequal World"
* Competitors must be not less than 12 years of age and not more than 18 years of age by October 5,
* The other conditions are the same as for the under 12 drawing competition closing date of the competition.
Organized by - National Institute of Mental Health World Mental Health Day 2021 Mental Health in an Unequal world

Essay writing competition for children between 12 to 18 years of age

Topic – “A Healthy Mind in an Unequal World"
* The essay competition will be held separately in Sinhala and Tamil medium
* Competitors must be not less than 12 years of age and not more than
18 years of age by October 5, the closing date of the competition.
* The essay should be written in own handwriting. Essays typed or printed will not be accepted for the competition. 
*  Essays should be written in A4 sheets only.
* Essay should not be less than 250 words and not more than 300 words.
* Only blue or black pen should be used to write the essay.
* It is mandatory for one of the parents to certify on the back of the essay as follows:

General Terms and Conditions

* Creations sent after the deadline are not considered for the contest.
*Creations can only be submitted online.
*If it is difficult to send online such designs, it can be brought by hand to the
"Navodaya" Day Treatment Center of the National Institute of Mental Health

* Those who submit creations online should keep the creation safe to submit
whenever needed.
*Competitions will be judged by an independent panel of judges.
* In every competition
1. The first winner will be awarded Rs. 5000 and a certificate
2. The second winner will be awarded Rs. 3000 and a certificate
3. The third winner will be awarded Rs. 2000 and a certificate
4. Merit Certificate will be awarded from the 4th winner to the 10th winner.
