Dental Nurse Grade II

Number of Vacancies: 09 		Details:
  • Salary Scale: Rs. 51,095 – 7x540; 10x640-60,575 p.m. (as at 01.01.2025) [U-MT I (III)]
  • Qualifications:
    • Passes in 6 subjects at G.C.E. (O/L) with 5 credits (including Science & Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
    • AND Three (03) Advanced Level passes in Science subjects in one sitting.
  • Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
  • Service Conditions: Appointment will be as "Trainee Dental Nurse" for three (03) years. Confirmation as Dental Nurse Grade II upon gaining competence and English typing ability.
General Notes & Benefits:
  • Allowances: Cost of living allowance and other approved allowances will be paid.
  • Provident Fund: 10% from employee, 7% from employer.
  • Pension Fund: 8% contribution from employer.
  • ETF: 3% contribution from employer.
  • The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates.

Centre for Distance & Continuing Education (CDCE) 		Details:
  • Target Group: Senior Academic Staff Members (Senior Lecturer Grade II or above) of the University.
  • Experience Required: Experience in teaching, training, examination, and administration.
  • Duties: Plan/organize programmes, design instructional material (online/print), manage Learning Resource Centres.
  • Term: 3 Years.
  • Allowance: 20% of the basic salary of the substantive post.
  • Work Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week.
